FAQ

  • Ten Ahead is a private lifestyle office based in Mayfair, London. We provide executive-level lifestyle management for founders, executives, high-net-worth individuals and families whose personal lives carry the same operational weight as their professional ones. Each client works with a dedicated Lifestyle Manager, your Chief of Life, who runs the moving parts of your personal world: travel, household, family logistics, health, education and the decisions that connect them. We have operated for over a decade and have been featured in Tatler and The Telegraph.

  • Think of the family office model, applied to daily life rather than wealth. A private lifestyle office is a single team that coordinates everything around you: your homes, travel, schedules, staff, suppliers and existing advisers, all held in one place by people who know your world. Rather than you managing ten relationships, you manage one, and we manage the rest. You can read more on our Private Lifestyle Office page.

  • It's the idea Ten Ahead was founded on. Businesses give their leaders a Chief of Staff, one trusted person who removes friction and protects their time. Almost nobody has that at home, where life is often more demanding. A Chief of Life is that same calibre of partnership, built for your personal world. Our founder, a former Chief of Staff herself, explains the thinking on our About page.

  • A concierge fulfils requests: you ask, they book. We take ownership. Your Lifestyle Manager carries the full context of your life, anticipates rather than waits, coordinates the professionals already around you, and handles the hundred small things you never hear about because they were dealt with before they reached you. Concierge is a service you use. This is infrastructure you live on.

  • We're often compared to one, and PA support is part of what we do, but the model is broader. A PA supports your tasks; the thinking, prioritising and remembering still sit with you. With Ten Ahead, ownership moves to us. We've written about the difference in lifestyle manager vs personal assistant.

About Ten Ahead

  • Founders and senior executives, dual-career families, HNW and UHNW households, public figures who value discretion, and globally mobile families managing life across more than one country. What they share isn't a job title. It's the point where managing everything alone has stopped making sense. Some come to us for full lifestyle management; others begin with a single area, like travel or household and estate.

  • No. We're based in Mayfair and much of our work is in London and the UK, but we support clients across Europe, the Middle East, the US and beyond. Our model blends remote coordination with in-person support where it's needed, so distance has never been the deciding factor. If your life moves across time zones, that's precisely the kind of complexity we're built for.

  • Discretion is a working condition, not a feature. Our team operates under NDAs as standard, information is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis, and many of our clients are people whose privacy is professionally important. We're comfortable being invisible. Most people in our clients' lives never know we exist.

  • No, and this matters to almost everyone who asks. You remain the decision-maker throughout. We build around your preferences, check in at the level you choose, and handle implementation behind the scenes. Most clients find they have more control, not less, because for the first time everything is visible in one place and nothing is slipping.

  • Yes, and we usually do. We coordinate with EAs, household staff, wealth managers, lawyers, schools and medical providers rather than replacing them. Your Lifestyle Manager becomes the connective layer between them, so nothing falls into the gaps between one professional and the next.

Working with us

  • Every engagement is shaped around the life it supports, so we don't publish a rate card. Some clients need a few committed hours a week; others need a full private lifestyle office behind them. Scope, and therefore cost, is agreed in an initial conversation, and you'll always know exactly where you stand. No surprises, no meter running.

  • Our work is relationship-based rather than transactional, and it works best as ongoing support; that's how anticipation becomes possible. But we're not a lock-in. Terms, including notice, are agreed clearly at the start, and our clients stay because it works. Across five years, our retention rate is 100%.

  • The first month is about learning the shape of your world: your family, homes, commitments, preferences and the people around you. We set up the systems, meet the key players, and start taking work off your plate from week one. By the end of the month, most clients tell us it feels like we've always been there. The process is on our How it Works page.

  • Yes. Organisations retain us as an executive benefit for senior leaders, and private banks, family offices and advisory firms partner with us on a referral or white-label basis. Details are on our corporate page.

Engagements and pricing

  • The honest answer is most things that eat your time and headspace. Day to day: diary and life admin, travel end to end, household staff and suppliers, school applications and education planning, specialist healthcare found quickly, events from intimate dinners to milestone celebrations, renovations and relocations. And alongside the practical, The Thinking Partner gives you confidential space to think clearly about the decisions that don't fit anywhere else. Each service page has its own FAQ covering the finer detail: Travel & Escape, Health & Wellbeing, Lifestyle Management, Household & Estate, Events & Dining, Learning & Growth.

  • Our core work is ongoing, but yes: relocations, major renovations, a season of significant events, or a complex family moment sometimes call for defined, project-based support. If it's the right way to help, we'll say so. Many ongoing relationships began with a single project done well.

  • We'd never say, and that's rather the point. But nothing sensible surprises us anymore, and the requests people assume are impossible are often the ones we enjoy most. If you're wondering whether something is "the kind of thing you can ask", it almost certainly is. We've written about the requests you never knew you could outsource.

Our services

  • With a conversation. Get in touch and tell us a little about your world and where the pressure sits. Every enquiry is read and answered personally by our founder, Georgie, and if we're the right fit we'll arrange a private consultation from there. No forms beyond the first one, no sales process, no obligation.

  • That's the most common starting point, and honestly the best one. Most people arrive knowing only that they're carrying too much. Telling us "I don't know where to start" is a perfectly good opening line. Working out where support will make the biggest difference is the first thing we do together.
